Are you a 1099 Independent Contractor who wants to teach students in-person in locations of your choice?

  • Select Your Level of Engagement – Full or Part Time

Opportunities

  • Use CYM’s lead-generating team and processes to build your studio to capacity with committed students who want to learn in-person.
  • Develop a waitlist that eliminates fluctuations in your studio population/income.
  • Join a group of teachers who are especially dedicated and are fully insured professionals. 
  • Collaborate with CYM teachers, students, and community partners to expand impact by engaging in exceptional training, events, and content.
  • Participate in programming designed to measure the effectiveness of your teaching.

Qualifications

Join our team as a educator and performer, where your two years of experience in nurturing relationships through excellent interpersonal skills and a solid background in teaching and performance are key. Embrace your role as a lifelong learner, leading community recitals with enthusiasm and a commitment to inclusive collaboration. Your dedication to enhancing community health and well-being through music is vital. Contributing with the Craft Your Music platform, your engaging communication will inspire and connect. While a Master’s in Education or Performance is preferred, your fervor for music and education is what truly resonates.

  • Two years of work experience demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills,
  • Strong background in pedagogy and performance,
  • Lifetime learner – willing to codify work and add credentials, 
  • Gregarious spirit to lead recitals for musical community service,
  • Egalitarian outlook to create relationships that increase vitality,
  • Interested in promoting community health and well-being through music,
  • Engaging communication skills (will regularly add to the Craft Your Music platform),
  • A Master’s in Education or Performance is preferred.

CYM offers services for a monthly subscription fee plus variable commission based on lesson activity. CYM Teacher pay/lesson rate is self-selected. Students are calling for lessons now to work with you in-person– the 1099 Independent Contractor!
