Family Day at the Pittsburgh Opera

Pittsburgh Opera is hosting a free “Family Day” on Saturday, May 7th staring at 10:00 AM at Bitz Opera Factory in the Strip District. Families can participate in four different activities designed to expose children, teens, and their families to some of the many different components that make up opera: an instrument show and tell, a voice lesson, dance/movement/choreography, and prop making. The morning will end with a free “Brown Bag” concert featuring the music that was presented in the morning’s activities. More details and registration form may be found here: https://www.pittsburghopera.org/calendar/detail/family-day
