Holiday DVD Reminder

Last year, due to the unfortunate circumstances of the pandemic, CYM students came together to create a DVD of performances for residents of senior care centers. Over ten students from different studios recorded themselves performing polished pieces for residents to enjoy during the holiday season. The project was a smashing success; so much so that CYM will create another DVD to share this year.

All students interested can contact their teachers directly to plan their musical gift. Then, once they feel they are prepared to perform it, they can film themselves either at home or at a CYM location performing said piece. After that, they can email the file to jniehl@youngmusicians.org or upload the video to a secure google drive folder.

Be sure to label the file with the student’s first name only, instrument, teacher, and name of piece. For example, it should look something like this: Jake_viola_ChrisSforza_CaroloftheBells.mp4. (Be sure not to use periods or spaces when naming your file, they will cause an error on your computer).
