On Saturday the 12th at 12:00 pm, you can perform your polished piece in the June Serenade hosted by Julia Solomon! Serenade’s offer a great opportunity to get feedback on your polished piece and overall performance skills and present one or more songs or works to a live audience over Zoom. Requests a ticket today to share your latest favorites in the June Serenade.
THIS Saturday afternoon, June 5 at 3 pm, families can join two different CYM Events to listen and play together – having long awaited a live music experience. Let’s enjoy making music in ways just NOT possible on Zoom! Let us know that you would like to attend by requesting a ticket below – we can’t wait to see you!
Come on over to CYM Wexford to play your guitar pieces in the backyard with Mr. Mark and Mr. Erich. This activity is being provided especially for students who want to get together but are not meeting in person indoors yet – though all are welcome. Any guitar students in the Suzuki Studies Program ages 4 – 12, or students who play the repertoire, can attend and review. Violin students who are not going to attend the Department Presentation at Frick Park scheduled for the same day and time, are also invited to play Book One with the guitar students, especially if they are siblings of a guitar student. It will be great to be able to play together “for real”, have a chance to show how much you have progressed since our last in person Guitar Play-Ins a year ago, and we will definitely have fun time seeing each other!
OR… meet up with Ms. Rochelle, Ms. Leah, and Mr. Chris for the Violin Department Recital that you have preparing for – in Frick Park! All violinists who have a polished piece ready now are invited to play in the concert (check with your teacher). This event will strengthen performance skills and community ties among CYM families.
Bring your instrument, (footrest and clip-on tuner for guitarists), sunglasses and snacks, and blanket or lawn chairs for your family members.
