April’s Serenade Led By Mr. Chris

So you have worked hard, learned a piece by heart, and really love to play it. Awesome! The next step is to test what you know, and shorten the gap between what you expect to hear when you share the piece with someone new, and what you actually play. Since music is a language that never “comes out” exactly the same way twice, performing regularly, and even performing the same piece in a number of separate venues, will deepen skills that are solidly yours, while also clearly identify new goals.

Students of all abilities are invited to participate in an April Showers Serenade on Sunday, April 24th at 2:00 PM. The concert will be held in the sanctuary of the Perry Highway Lutheran Church in Wexford (11403 Perry Hwy, Wexford, PA 15090), a short drive over from our school at 120 Lake Drive. Students are encouraged to prepare a polished piece to share with the supportive audience. As a special treat, your host Mr. Chris will join in as one of the performers!
