Your family loves music and you know your child wants to begin lessons – now what? Join Mark Marston as he presents Parent Orientation for Suzuki Guitar, and learn why the method is effective and how being able to play and learn with your child is beneficial to musicianship skills and family relationships.

This one time online meeting is for parents who want to know what it will be like to be the “home teacher” – the person who takes notes in individual lessons, assist their child in daily practice, and also learns to play the instrument themselves. Parents of children ages 3-6 who are considering Suzuki guitar lessons are welcome. Basics of the philosophy and classical guitar playing, as presented in Suzuki Guitar School Book One, will be shared. Before his presentation, Mark hopes you will read one or two of Suzuki’s books (listed below) and after his presentation he will answer your questions.
