It’s time for Friday Face, only this one is a bit of a special edition, because today, we are celebrating Ms. Nandi Bushell! Ms. Bushell is an 11-year-old drummer from Ipswich, U.K. who has become a rising star throughout 2020 and into 2021 with her various youtube videos covering rock songs from bands such as Muse, Nirvana, the White Stripes, and many more. However, Ms. Bushell is perhaps best known for her interactions with the band the Foo Fighters and their lead singer and guitarist Dave Grohl. The two engaged in a friendly “drum-off” over the internet, with Grohl conceding defeat and inviting the young rock star to perform with the Foo Fighters as soon as the band was able to go on tour to the UK. However, it seems Ms. Nandi was able to perform with her idol a bit sooner than expected as she took the stage Thursday night to perform at the Los Angeles Forum in front of over 13,000 screaming fans chanting her name.
