Songs of Summer Ukulele Sing-A-Long

Lindsay McGinnis and Mark Marston will lead another round of their popular ukulele sing-along course this June. Meetings will occur on Zoom* for five days, 90 minutes each, from 10:30 AM- 12:00 Noon, Monday June 27 through Friday July 1. Students will alternate each 30 minutes, working on singing, then playing the ukulele, and then for the final 30 minutes, will work on putting it all together so they can strum and sing the songs they have learned. The singing portion will cover vocal warm-ups and technique. The ukulele portion will cover strumming chords and playing melodies. Basic music theory will be covered in both portions. Songs will include You Are My Sunshine, Three Little Birds (Bob Marley), Summertime (Gershwin), and Here Comes the Sun (Beatles). By the end of the course, students will be able to lead sing-a-longs at home with family and friends!

Tuition? The cost per student is $125 for the five meetings.
