Unpack The Ukuleles!

Back By Popular Demand: Ukulele Holiday Sing-Along with Lindsay McGinnis and Mark Marston! This course will meet on Zoom* for four consecutive Saturdays for 90 minutes, from 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM, November 27th through December 18th. Students will alternate each 30 minutes, working on singing, then playing the ukulele, and then for the final 30 minutes, will work on putting it all together so they can strum and sing the songs and carols they have learned. The singing portion will cover vocal warm-ups and technique. The ukulele portion will cover strumming chords and playing melodies. Basic music theory will be covered in both portions. By the end of the course, students will be able to lead sing-a-longs at home with family and friends! This is primarily an online course to allow the most number of family participants, but an in-person option may be available for those who would rather come to the Wexford or Sewickley locations – please reach out to Mark for more information.
