July, November, and April Recitals: Return to An Expansive Space

A dad, who was listening to his kids play this past weekend at our school in Sewickley, was among many parents who shared how much their family appreciates CYM’s varied performance opportunities. “This was so great!” he said, referring to the musical selections and Q and A presented by students from Duquesne University and CYM. During the post-concert conversation parents told us how happy they are that their children have so many chances to build confidence and demonstrate what they have learned. One added (wistfully), “We really miss playing at that big beautiful church in the city, that was SO fun! Can we go there again?”

YES, Let’s Do It!

Three dates have been reserved for you to perform in the sanctuary at the First Unitarian Church in Shadyside. Stay tuned to the CYM News for details about proposed recitals in this location: a July Recital (the 23rd), a November Recital (the 6th), and an April Recital (the 30th, 2023). We hope you will join us to play in this architecturally and acoustically beautiful space built in 1904, for a truly enthusiastic audience of music lovers – your family and friends!
